Fair Turin Alps, the union of the tourism consortia of Bardonecchia, Sestriere, Fortur Sauze d'Oulx, and Incoming Experience of Turin, participated with great success at the Padova Cycling Fair, a true reference point for cycling and outdoor enthusiasts.
It was an international showcase for the promotion of the Susa Valley, the Chisone Valley, the municipalities, and the Alpine districts of Bardonecchia and Vialattea: a single tourist destination capable of combining the best of the summer mountains.
The Turin Alps area attracted a large number of visitors from the "world of cycling," excited to discover the natural beauty and outdoor activity opportunities offered by the Susa Valley.
From the Via Francigena cycle path in the lower valley to the legendary peaks of the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España, pedaling along the paved roads that connect the Olympic mountains. And then there are the Bike Parks and itineraries on trails and dirt roads dedicated to mountain bikes and e-bikes.
It's well known: the Susa Valley offers a paradise for cyclists of all levels. "The Susa Valley is increasingly well-known and a leading player in the world of outdoor activities and cycling," said Giorgio Montabone, President of Turin Alps. "With our proposals, we want to encourage enthusiasts to discover the natural beauty and excitement our valley has to offer. From mountain biking to trekking, from road to trails, there's something for everyone!" Turin Alps intends to increasingly focus on the outdoors as a lever for tourism development throughout the region, promoting sustainable and responsible tourism.
