SHORT-TERM RENTALS AND TOURIST RENTALS: LET'S CLARIFY

Thursday, May 7th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Palazzo delle Feste in Bardonecchia, an update on the latest developments and requirements for owners and managers.
The short-term rental and tourist rental market is constantly growing and evolving in the Susa Valley and beyond. To clarify the rules, administrative, and tax obligations, Turin Alps, the Super Consortium of Valsusa and Val Chisone, is organizing a public meeting for all those who rent apartments for tourism purposes, whether on a rotating or seasonal basis.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Palazzo delle Feste in Bardonecchia. The event was created to respond to the numerous requests from local owners and property managers, who are grappling with evolving regulations, including CIN (Information on Tourism Infrastructure), communications to the Police Headquarters, tourist tax, flat-rate tax, and regional compliance.

During the morning, new national and regional regulations will be presented, as well as the necessary compliance requirements. Managing a legitimate tourist rental and the tools provided by the Piedmont Region and Visit Piemonte to support operators.
"The goal is to provide concrete answers to those who invest in the area and contribute to the tourism development of our mountains," says Giorgio Montabone, who created the event. "A growing sector requires clear and shared rules. Only in this way can we protect owners, guests, and the quality of hospitality."
The meeting is free and open to all residents, second home owners, managers, and real estate agencies.
