Turin Alps: A new Olympic Mountain Alliance is born

"Turin Alps," the alliance between the tourist consortia of Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Bardonecchia, and Incoming Experience, was presented at the TTG in Rimini. Together, they will promote the Piedmont Olympic Mountains as a single, major destination. The creation of Turin Alps was presented today at the Piedmont Region stand at the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini. This new network unites the tourist consortia of Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Bardonecchia, and Incoming Experience. The goal is to build a unique destination that unites Turin, the city of art, with the Olympic Mountains, a symbol of sport and nature. Paolo Bongioanni, Regional Councillor for Tourism and Sport, was present at the presentation and expressed great satisfaction with the initiative. Also speaking were Giorgio Montabone (Bardonecchia Tourism Consortium and president of Turin Alps), Massimo Bonetti (Sestriere), Cristina Olivier (Sauze d’Oulx) and Ezio Fracei (Incoming Experience).

A common strategy for the Susa Valley and the Chisone Valley

Turin Alps was created to enhance an extraordinary region. Here, cities and mountains coexist in perfect balance between culture, history, sports, and natural landscapes. The initiative aims to develop a shared territorial marketing strategy capable of presenting a coherent and sustainable offering to the market. For this reason, the excellence of the Susa Valley and the Chisone Valley will be promoted in a unified manner. It will begin with the large ski areas of Vialattea and Bardonecchia, and extend to the Alpine villages and outdoor trails. Thanks to this vision, the network will offer integrated packages that combine mountain stays and city breaks in Turin. Visitors will therefore be able to enjoy complete experiences: visiting museums and Savoy residences, skiing on Olympic slopes, or trekking in the summer.
